Check compatibility

Which transmitter does your lift use?

Transmitter compatibility depends on when your control system was built — the two generations run on different frequencies and are not cross-compatible.

  • March 2007 or later: uses the current 7240.
  • Older units: use the legacy 6230, which runs on a different frequency and will not pair with newer receivers.

Have an older system? You can modernize it with a receiver upgrade kit — K7004, K7004A, or K7004PWC — and move up to the 7240. See Part Numbers for the right kit for your lift.

Before you send

Help us get it right the first time

A few details speed things up and make sure you receive a compatible remote:

  • Purchase date: roughly when the lift system was installed — this tells us 7240 vs. legacy 6230.
  • Model / part #: printed on your control box (e.g., GR2A).
  • Quantity: how many transmitters you'd like.

Running an older system? Ask us about a K7004 / K7004A / K7004PWC upgrade kit so you can switch to the current 7240.
